A perfect spot to make elegant, delicate Barolo wine, the town of La Morra is on the Northern border of the Barolo production area, divided from Alba and the Roero by the river Tanaro. A renowned site in the Langhe thanks to its producers and active wine scene, La Morra is well positioned among Barolo, Bra and Alba where the climate and soil bring slender, light Barolo wines.
Our vineyard Roncaglie, instead, is situated close to the border with Verduno, another area of great refinement. Grapes from this vineyard can ripen perfectly while keeping fresh and delicate aromas at the same time.
Topography & Soil

South-East facing Roncaglie vineyard is located in 300 metres above sea level. Steep slopes with good water retention potential and a good soil texture produce a light yet characterful Barolo.
Exceptionally great for grape cultivation, the soil of La Morra Roncaglie is a mixture of loam, clay and silt. Well-balanced and richly textured, it compares to the great growths in the Langhe area.
