barolo

Acquired in 2018, the vineyards of Monvigliero stretch over Verduno, a small town situated along the edge of the northern hills of the Barolo denomination. Monvigliero is the «gran cru» of the area, the symbol of that elegant expressiveness that made the wines from Verduno famous in the world.

The loose and light soils, rich in limestone and sand, yield a Barolo with a delicate color and, at the same time, enhance its aromas, bringing the typically austere «King of wines» to incomparable heights of elegance.

Part of the Monvigliero vineyard is cultivated with Pelaverga, a rare variety native to Verduno. Local biodiversity is preserved through the cultivation of hazelnuts and lavender fields.
