ScarpaEducational Harvest
Monferrato has always been a land of great wines and great Barbera grapes. The history and uniqueness of each wine starts from the land, for this reason we offer you the opportunity to come and discover all the characteristics and secrets of our grapes directly in our vineyards (while) spending a morning harvesting our grapes with our team.
Program:
9:00 am Meeting at the Antica Casa Scarpa winery in Nizza Monferrato (AT)
9:30 Arrival by car at Poderi Bricchi in Castel Rocchero (AT)
9:45 Educational harvest with explanation of the different phases of the vegetative vine growth and overview of the varieties present in the vineyards with focus on the harvested vine
10:30 Farmer’s snack with Mombaruzzo Amaretti and Moscato d’Asti Tacco 12 Scarpa
11:30 Return to Scarpa and start tour of the vinification and maturation cellar and caveau with historical vintages
12:15 Tasting of the Vigneron with buffet of local products and the Scarpa wines:
- Monferrato Bianco da uve Timorasso
- Dolcetto d’Acqui DOC
- Barbera d’Asti DOCG I Bricchi
- Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG La Bogliona
- Monferrato Rosso DOC Rouchet
