Given the ongoing lockdown, in Italy and the U.S., we are asking our friends and colleagues to take part in a new social media campaign: The Scarpa Cellar Dive.
If you open a bottle of Scarpa and share a video with your tasting notes, we’ll replace the bottle (if not with the exact same vintage, then something comparable).
We already have a few tasting videos lined up (stay tuned). If you’d like to participate, please send an email to our U.S. blogmaster Jeremy (by clicking here) and he’ll share notes on how to make the video and how to get your bottle replaced.
One of the things that makes Scarpa unique in the world of Italian wine is that it has maintained a “historic cellar,” in other words a wine library that stretches back a generation and more.
Many of Scarpa’s partners across the world, including its U.S. importer, have older vintages of Scarpa wines in their warehouses. Once the lockdowns are lifted in the U.S., we’ll be able to work with our partners there to replace your bottle (and in case the exact wine from the same vintage is not available, we’ll be sure to replace your bottle with something comparable in value).
Please email Jeremy using the link above to take part in the campaign. Thank you in advance for your support: Italian wine needs you now more than ever. Thank you.
