After ending harvest, we want to take a moment to look back on the past year and share some of the best results from a highly satisfying season. At Scarpa, we know how to wait – and it's a pleasure to know that patience pays off.
This year, we received excellent recognition from the national and international press: La Bogliona Barbera d’Asti docg Superiore remains our most awarded wine – the 2017 vintage garnered Bibenda’s 5 Grappoli award while the 2016 vintage gained 92 points from Wine Enthusiast and Wein.plus.
We also proudly mention Tettimorra Barolo docg 2019 and Tettineive Barbaresco docg 2019, both vinified from property cru vineyards located in Langhe (Roncaglie and Canova, respectively). The former received 95 points from Club Oenologique and 92 from Falstaff (as well as a gold medal for the 2018 vintage at the Meininger Mundus Vini competition); the latter earned an excellent score of 93 points from Wine Enthusiast.
