As we reach the midpoint of 2023, we are pleased to share the top scores that our wines received from the international press.
Among the numerous outstanding ratings, one stands out in particular: 93 points given by Wine Enthusiast to Barbera d’Asti Casascarpa 2020. Once again, this label is confirmed as one of the finest gateways to enter the world of Scarpa.
La Bogliona Barbera d’Asti Superiore continues to be our most awarded wine: the 2016 vintage gained 92 points from Wine Enthusiast and from Wein.Plus. The 2018 vintage of Barolo Tettimorra received a Gold Medal from Mundus Vini, while the 2017 vintage achieved 92 points from James Suckling.
We are also highly satisfied with our Nebbiolo d’Alba Bric Du Nota 2019 and Monferrato Rosso Rouchet, which received 91 and 90 points from James Suckling, respectively. This proves that our commitment to quality spans across the entire wine range, from single-variety wines to the great denominations of Piedmont.
